NATIVE AMERICAN TREASURE TROVE
Archaeologists in eastern Iowa have found about 1000 artifacts they believe belonged to an American Indian village in the areas in the 1840s.
The small items include gun parts, a musket ball, pieces of animal traps, and broken tobacco pipes.
Archeologists say the items will help them learn more about how the Native Americans lived.
