MAN PULLED FROM BURNING CAR

Dramatic dash camera video from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina shows a police officer pulling a man out of his burning car.

The officer arrived to find the car on fire, but as he ran up with a fire extinguisher, he realized the driver was still sitting in the front seat.

He yanked the man out and the two ran to safety. Police say the 27-year-old man was so drunk he didn't even realize his vehicle was burning as he sat in it.

AMTRAK TRAIN HITS CAR

Video from Jacksonville, Florida shows a car try to go around crossing arms and get hit by an oncoming Amtrak passenger train.

As the car was cut in two, the passenger in the back seat was thrown out. Amazingly, she suffered only minor injuries. The 21-year-old driver walked away unscathed.

No one on the train was hurt.

RARE FISH

Scientists are excited about the rare discovery of a 15-foot oarfish that washed ashore on Catalina Island in California.

Oarfish usually spend their time deep below the surface.

Back in the old days, sailors used to think it was a sea serpent. And in Japan, there are some people who believe the oarfish can predict earthquakes.
