Neighbor hurt trying to rescue pets from Fayetteville fire
The fire broke out Thursday night at a mobile home on Peejay Lane in the Bonnie Doone neighborhood.

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville are trying to figure out what started a fire that killed several pets inside a mobile home Thursday night.

The fire broke out around 7:45 p.m. at the home on Peejay Lane in the Bonnie Doone neighborhood.

Three cats and a dog died in the blaze.

Firefighters said a neighbor was hurt trying to rescue the pets and was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
