North Carolina beating caught on video
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police in Greenville are investigating a viral video showing a man punching a woman and the fight that ensued.
The video was taken at a gas station near the North Campus Crossing apartment complex.
A man is seen to apparently harass a woman, and when the woman's boyfriend intervenes, the man punches the woman in the face.
The boyfriend then attacks the man and slams him to the ground, continuing to lay down punches.
The woman can also be seen kicking the man on the ground. When the couple left, the man was lying on the ground motionless.
Greenville police say they were called to the gas station, but by the time they got there the unconscious man had left. They have identified the couple, but without a victim, they can't press charges at this point.
