Victims identified in fatal domestic disturbance
Deputies say 59-year-old Douglas Wayne Suggs was found stabbed inside the home, and his cousin was also found injured.

HOPE MILLS, NC (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says one person is dead and another hurt in a domestic argument Friday in the 5100 block of Church Street in Hope Mills.

Deputies say 59-year-old Douglas Wayne Suggs was found inside the home with multiple stab wounds.

His cousin, Sammerea Suggs, had also been injured.

Suggs was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Investigators say her condition is unknown.

It happened around 11:30 Friday night.

Deputies arrived on the scene after receiving a 911 call from neighbors.

No charges have been filed.
