Woman shot in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A woman was injured Monday evening during an apparent drive-by shooting on Pine Street Court in the Eureka Springs area of Cumberland County.

Deputies say it happened around 10 p.m.

The 32-year-old was struck in the leg as she was standing outside a home.

Her wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.

Deputies are investigating.
