NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WTVD) -- Two parents have been charged in Nashville after they allegedly locked their two infant children in an SUV and walked away.

Customers walking past the vehicle parked outside a pawn business called authorities.

Firefighters then opened the doors of the vehicle and got the children out.

The couple now faces child endangerment charges.

They told reporters they had only been gone a few minutes when they returned and found emergency workers and police around their car. Video shows they were gone about 20 minutes on an 85-degree day.
