Police investigate shooting in Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Hillsborough police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon.

Investigators said it happened on West Hill Avenue near Latimer Street around 3 p.m. The victim, a 23-year-old Hillsborough man, was shot in the wrist and treated at UNC Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a black Chevrolet Malibu with tinted windows and factory wheels. The car was allegedly driven by a white male who is thought to be involved in the shooting.
