Police investigate Durham shootings
First happened just before 9 p.m. at the Oxford Manor Apartments in Durham, second happened hours later at Bay Creek Apartments.

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Authorities in Durham are investigating two separate apartment shootings that happened within hours of each other.

The first one happened just before 9 p.m. at the Oxford Manor Apartments.

Police said a man drove himself to the hospital after someone shot him in the shoulder.

Hours later around 1:30 a.m., a 62-year-old man was shot in the neck at the Bay Creek Apartments on Hudson Avenue.

Authorities said the shooting happened after the victim heard arguing, then looked out his door.

Arrest warrants have been issued in the case, but police have not released any other details surrounding the incident.

Investigators are still searching for the gunmen involved in both shootings.
