Man charged in August robbery; police say victim was fatally shot this week

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery last month, and police believe the victim was the same man who was fatally shot Friday at a Raleigh apartment complex.

Adrian Oden, 22, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to arrest warrants obtained by ABC11, Oden and another man (Darius Watkins) allegedly stole cash and marijuana from Casty St. Louis back in August.

St. Louis died Friday, gunned down around 6:40 p.m. Friday at the River Birch at Town Center apartments near Old Wake Forest Road.

Watkins is charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon in the shooting.
