Raleigh Police hunt for masked suspects in armed robbery at bank

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are searching for two masked suspects in an armed robbery at a bank Friday morning.

It happened just before 11:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank in the 2000 block of Fairview Road.

Investigators say at least one suspect was armed with a handgun.

Police say both suspects fled on Fairview Road after the robbery. They were last seen turning south onto Jarvis Street.

Police say the first suspect is a black male with a thin build, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a grey hooded jacket and dark trousers.

The second suspect is described as a black male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall. He also wore a grey hooded jacket and dark trousers.
