STUDIO CITY, California -- A real-life holiday Grinch stole multiple gifts from a family's porch in Studio City, California on Friday.

The entire incident was caught on surveillance video at about 3:30 p.m. A UPS driver is seen dropping off the packages, but did not ring the doorbell, said Chuck Saftler, who was home at the time. Minutes later, the suspect pulled into the driveway and popped the trunk of his car open.

The suspect made three trips in order to grab all seven packages. One package was so large, it didn't fit in the trunk and had to be shoved into the front passenger side seat.

"I suspect that the person has a family and he wouldn't want it done to his family," Saftler said.

"I'm disappointed at what the thief did in terms of robbing my autistic son of the Christmas he was hoping for and expecting," Saftler added.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating.
