Rolesville fire victims officially identified

ROLESVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- A week after a woman and one of her twin sons died in a Rolesville home, they have officially been identified by authorities.

Authorities said as 39-year-old Kristy Bryan and her 3-year-old son Tyler died in their home at 6205 Roles Saddle Drive.

Tyler's brother was taken to UNC Hospital in critical condition.

Neighbors called 911 just before 8 a.m. to report smoke coming from the home.

Court documents have been sealed, including a search warrant, and no cause of death has been given or any information about how the fire might have started.

Mayor Frank Eagles stated "We want to continue to assure the public that the Rolesville Police Department is doing everything in their power, along with the assistance of the District Attorney's office, to expedite the case but still preserve its integrity. We ask for the public's patience as this process continues. We want to make sure that all the facts are straight before making any further comment. We ask for the public to respect the privacy of the family after this tragic event."
