SELMA, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Town of Selma is considering a baggy pants ban.

Discussion about the ban was on the town council's agenda Wednesday, but the issue was tabled until the next work session Tuesday.

The mayor said she plans to present research done by the Dunn city attorney on the issue at the next meeting.

You may remember that the Dunn City Attorney P. Tilghman Pope told Dunn council members in Sept. 2012 that issuing a fine to people wearing saggy pants was unconstitutional.
