Lanes reopen after boat, truck accident on I-95 near Dunn

DUNN, N.C. (WTVD) -- Several lanes of I-95 northbound have reopened after a serious multi-vehicle crash.

The accident happened around 5 p.m. at the Hodges Chapel Road exit, near Dunn.

Chopper 11 HD was over the scene in Harnett County as officials worked to determine the cause of the crash.

It appears an SUV towing a boat crashed into the median in the southbound lanes, and the boat went flying into the northbound lanes. The boat crashed into two other vehicles.

Authorities said five people were treated at the scene. One person was taken to a nearby hospital.

It is not known if any charges have been filed.
