Shots fired outside Durham's Northgate Mall

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police responded to a shooting call outside the Macy's at Northgate Mall in Durham Thursday afternoon.

No one was hurt, but shots were fired outside the mall.

Police said three people were in custody one in connection with the shooting and two on outstanding warrants.

A deputy saw one person fire shots, and investigators are looking for a silver sedan seen leaving the area.

Witnesses said some shoppers dove for cover. One car was hit by bullets.
