Surveillance video captures home break-in

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham County Sheriff's Department is searching for two burglary suspects caught on home surveillance video.

It happened June 16 at 10:50 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of South Mineral Springs Road.

The video first shows the burglars trying to break in as the family's dogs looked on.

Once inside, one suspect can be seen carrying a shovel. The other left with a flat screen TV.

They were in and out of the house in just 23 seconds.

While the family dogs were clearly frightened, authorities said they were not harmed.
