Suspect charged in fatal shooting outside Fayetteville Wendy's

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A man has been arrested in the fatal shooting Saturday in the parking lot of a Fayetteville Wendy's on Raeford Road.

Police have charged Antonio Deondre Amur Styles, 20, of Fayetteville with first-degree murder in the death of Brandon Ratliff. He was one of the people taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with minor injuries after the incident.

Styles was arrested after being discharged from the hospital.

Police said a group of people had arranged to meet each other in the parking lot but it turned into a dispute which led to gunshots. Ratliff was found dead at the scene.

Styles was also charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. He was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.

Police are still investigating.
