Suspect in 2015 Chapel Hill bank robbery turns himself in

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- A suspect in a 2015 robbery of a SunTrust Bank in Chapel Hill turned himself in to authorities on Thursday.

Gregory Bauer Roberts, 46, of Chapel Hill was charged with felony common law robbery and surrendered at the Orange County Jail.

In May 2015, police responded to a robbery at the SunTrust Bank on Dobbins Drive. They say the suspect came into the bank, demanded money, and left on foot. He didn't display a weapon.

Roberts was processed and released on a $10,000 bond.
