Teacher's aide saves choking boy's life in Oklahoma

MANFORD, Okla. (WTVD) -- An Oklahoma teacher's aide is being called a hero after saving a student's life.

Surveillance video on the school bus captured it all. You can see the 5 year old gasping for air after he swallowed a coin.

The teacher pulled the bus over and jumped from behind the wheel, grabbed the boy, and performed the Heimlich maneuver while the child was choking.

After the coin was dislodged, the boy was fine. The teacher's aide warned him never to do that again, because it scared her to death.
