Teen on bike hit by car in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A teenager riding a bike was hit by a car in Durham on Thursday afternoon.

Our crew on the scene said the 16-year-old was hit on Miami Boulevard and Holloway Street. It is a very busy five-way intersection.

The teen was taken to the hospital. Authorities said the teen injured his ankle.

According to police, the teen pulled out in front of a vehicle.
