OUTER BANKS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A tiger shark has been spotted off North Carolina's coast.
The 11-foot shark, named Crystal, was tagged by the research group OCEARCH in June off Wrightsville Beach.
Her tracking device located her off the Outer Banks Friday night.
OCEARCH monitors the migratory patterns of sharks. It also monitors two very big great white sharks who seem to frequent North Carolina waters, Mary Lee and Katherine.
