Two men charged in seven Raleigh, Cary robberies

Arrests made in string of robberies

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police and Town of Cary Police have charged two suspects in connection with seven robberies that occurred in Raleigh and Cary since June.

Dalton Dwaine Christmas, 23, and Leonardo Martinez, 29, have both been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon in the following cases:

The June 20 robbery of the McDonald's at 1299 Kildaire Farm Rd., Cary;

The June 28 robbery of the Party Beverage at 5200 Western Blvd., Raleigh;

The July 27 robbery from person in the 200 block of Marsh Ave., Raleigh;

The July 30 robbery of the Tienda El Primo at 105 Nottingham Dr., Cary;

The August 1 robbery of the Priscilla McCall's at 3919 Western Blvd., Raleigh;

The August 6 robbery of the Customer Comes First African Braids at 5655 Western Blvd., Raleigh; and

The August 7 robbery of the Park-N-Stop at 421 Chatham St., Cary.

Both suspects were taken into custody without incident this morning in the 100 block of E. Circle Drive in Cary.

They are being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
