UPS truck flips, gets stuck under bridge in Apex

APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- A UPS truck flipped over and got stuck under a bridge in Apex on Saturday.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on Apex Barbecue Road near Kinship Lane. The driver wasn't hurt.

Police were unable to figure out how to get the truck out from under the bridge, so motorists were rerouted onto Kelly Road and Olive Chapel Road.

The road will be closed until Monday when the NCDOT can repair the bridge, authorities said.

Officials told ABC11 the driver lost control and ran off the bridge into the creek.
