Wake County deputy in crash

KNIGHTDALE, NC (WTVD) -- A Wake County deputy was involved in an accident at Smithfield Road and Knightdale Boulevard Monday night.

The crash was reported just after 10 p.m.

Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
