Warrant: Willow Spring man thought he was meeting 13-year-old for sex

CARY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Cary Police Department has arrested a Willow Spring man after he allegedly solicited an undercover officer in a chat room.

According to an arrest warrant, 50-year-old Eddie Eugene Edwards drove to Cary to meet what he thought was a 13-year-old girl.

Edwards is charged with soliciting via computer. Bond was set at $50,000.
