Woman hit by car in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A woman was badly hurt late Wednesday when she was hit by a car in Fayetteville.

It happened shortly before midnight.

Police said 35-year-old Julinda Marie Ferricks was crossing Owen Drive near Village Drive when she was hit. They say she was not in a crosswalk at the time.

The unidentified victim was last listed in critical condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The driver of the car was not injured. No charges have been filed.
