Police: Suspect plows car into apartment complex, flees scene

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are searching for the person responsible for plowing a car into a Durham apartment complex and then fleeing the scene.

Officers said the incident happened Saturday night at Willowdaile Apartments on Guess Road.

Reports show someone drove a car into a unit, backed up, and then drove off.

The apartment did suffer extensive damage; police did not comment on if the unit was occupied during the crash.
