Senator Richard Burr weighs in on big GOP wins on election night

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- It's like the dog that chases and finally catches the car. "What now?"

Now that the GOP has won control of the U.S. Senate, what can it do to end the gridlock on Capitol Hill?

Wednesday, Sen. Richard Burr said the Senate needs to push legislation that's been blocked by Majority Leader Harry Reid, and sent it to the White House.

For Burr personally, he will likely become chairman of the powerful Senate Intelligence Committee.

ABC11's Larry Stogner pressed him on that issue.
