RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a stabbing that happened Monday just before 1 a.m on E. Lenoir Street near Chavis Way.

Police said that two people approached the man and then stabbed, punched, and kicked him before taking his money.

The 45-year-old man was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the stabbing.
