RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Police Department is seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the suspect accused of attacking a woman.

Officers said the incident occurred on August 12 in the area of Falls of Neuse Road near Spruce Shadow Lane.

Authorities said the man tackled and fell on top of a female as she was jogging, attempting to hold her down; however, she was able to escape without injury.

The person in question is described as a black male is about 5' 9", heavier set, and has neck length dread locks and glasses.
