Sanford man facing charges involving child pornography

LEE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Authorities arrested a 47-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after a 3-month investigation involving child pornography.

The Lee County's Sheriff's Office said Charles Scott Snavely is facing 16 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor charges.

The case involves Snavely receiving and possessing child pornography, according to authorities.

He is being held under $1,600,000 bond.
