Best days of the week to shop online and save
There is a pattern to when retailers typically release online coupons and which day you shop matters for savings.
As the founder of RatherBeShopping.com, Kyle James gets online coupon codes and deals first to post to his website.
So, he aggregated all the information for a few hundred retailers to find out if there was a pattern to their coupon releases and he found there is.
"Out of about 500 stores, I came up with about 20 that have really consistent patterns to when the coupon is released for online shopping," said James. "So, if you're shopping the day before they release the coupon, you're obviously not going to save. But, if you know when the coupons are released you can wait and maximize your savings that way."
