Free meals and more in September
From BOGO sales to free food, we've got your freebies

September is here that means fall, football and freebies.

If you are planning any fall landscaping projects involving mulch, The City of Raleigh's Yard Waste Center is the place to save.

The city is holding a buy one get one mulch sale through Nov. 30, whether you buy a $2 bag or a $25 truckload full, you get the same amount free on the same day.

The City of Raleigh's mulch is regulated by the state to ensure quality. The mulch is made from all the yard clippings collected across the city.

And, now that school is back in session, college students can snag free bus rides in Raleigh with GORALEIGH. All you have to do is enroll in the GOPASS program to get a swipe card. This deal is good for students at St. Augustine's, Shaw University, NC State, Meredith college and Wake Tech.

There's also some free food this month. Chipotle is giving kids a free meal on Sundays when you buy an adult dish.

Chick Fil A is also getting in on the September freebies. If you download the Chick Fil A app by September 10 and create an account you can get a free breakfast sandwich.

To get your free breakfast, you have to download the app

IHOP wants you to bring the kids in to eat at dinnertime. From 4-10PM through Sept. 25, kids under 12 get a free entree with the purchase of an adult entree.
