Shots fired during apparent attempted break-in at Durham apartment

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired at an apartment complex in Durham Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 3 p.m. near the 501 Towns apartments on Bedford Street. Police say there may have been an attempted break-in.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
