There's just something about Disney that brings out the kid in all of us. Just about everyone has a favorite Disney movie or favorite memory of a trip to Disneyland. From spot-on, real life Disney princess lookalikes to the coolest "Little Mermaid"-themed wedding we've seen, these stories brought a little of that Disney magic into our everyday lives in 2014.

4. Dad creates glow-in-the-dark Minnie Mouse costume for toddler daughter

What won our unofficial prize for the cutest video of the 2014 Halloween season? A little girl with an adorably squeaky voice talking about all the candy she's going to get at Disneyland while wearing a glow-in-the-dark Minnie Mouse costume her dad made. AKA Glowy Zoey.

3. Artist brings classic Disney princesses to life in incredible drawings

They may have originally been the works of animated fantasy, but these Disney princesses look like they're almost reality. Finnish graphic design student Jirka Vaatainen takes classic Disney princesses and reanimates them to look strikingly realistic and beautiful, adding a fresh new twist on classic Disney characters.
