DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Carolina Theatre is a landmark in downtown Durham, and many people don't realize there is a civil rights exhibit on the theatre's third floor.
The Confronting Change exhibit opened in February 2014 and details the efforts desegregate the Carolina in the 1960's. During Black History Month members of the Civil Rights Exhibit Committee will give guided tours.
Tours are scheduled for Friday, February 19 from 5pm to 7pm and Monday, February 22 from 12pm to 2pm.
