Driver takes extreme measures to avoid having car impounded

WALTHAMSTOW, England -- An angry driver took it upon himself to avoid having his car impounded in a London suburb. His extreme tactic was caught on camera.

The man climbed into the driver's seat, started the engine, and reversed the car off the flatbed tow truck.

The car landed on all four wheels with a big thud, but it still took off.

Police were called after the driver pulled the maneuver.

Authorities say the man had utter disregard for public safety because he launched his car from the tow truck without being able to see below him.
