North Dakota man's short and sweet obituary goes viral

NORTH DAKOTA (WTVD) -- A North Dakota man, who was known to be a jokester in life, is still making people laugh after death.

Instead of a long, life-detailing obituary, 85-year-old Doug Legler's obit simply said, "Doug Died."

The extremely short obituary has gone viral. His daughter said her dad just wanted it short and sweet, and came up with the two-word summation himself.

The family said the two short words was telling of his great and funny personality.

A memorial service for Legler was held Thursday.
