Getting to see a loved one after an extended absence is a special moment for anyone. One airman made his reunion with his girlfriend even more special by dropping to one knee to pop the question, and he enlisted the help of his fellow airline passengers to help him pull it off.

Airman Aaron Vergara had not seen his girlfriend for eight months. Knowing she was the one, he decided he would ask her to marry him as soon as he arrived home in Miami.

Wanting to make the surprise extra special, he asked for a few volunteers on his flight from Hawaii. As the passengers departed the plane, they each handed Vergara's girlfriend a rose. Finally, Vergara emerges with one more rose and a ring.

"I've traveled halfway around the world and haven't found a girl like you," Vergara says on bended knee. "I can't live without you. You complete me."

With a proposal like that, it should come as no surprise that she said yes.
