EL DORADO, Kansas (WTVD) -- A high school student born with Spina bifida managed a surprise at his high school graduation in Kansas over the weekend.
Riley Brown has no feeling below the waist and uses a wheelchair.
But he secretly worked with his mentor to develop enough upper-body strength that he could use a walker to pull himself to his feet to shake hands and accept his diploma.
The move got him a standing ovation from the crowd watching.
