TRC Morrisville hosts expansion grand opening
MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Triangle's largest indoor rock climbing facility is now open.
The facility in Morrisville is one of the largest indoor climbing gyms on the East Coast.
Our own Steve Daniels was out there, Saturday, scaling a 55-foot wall for a celebrity rock climbing event.
He was raising money for the Ronald McDonald House in Durham.
"I was really nervous about it. It's like climbing a five-story building...There's this part where the wall juts out and you're thinking how am I going to get around that," Steve said. "It was fun...My heart's pumping. I feel like I got a workout."
TRC Morrisville is open seven days a week. The center is located on Pheasant Wood Court off Morrisville Parkway, if you'd like to try it out yourself.
