CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- Former UNC basketball star Eric Montross hosted his annual Father's Day basketball camp at the Dean Dome on Saturday.

The camp is in its 21st year and serves as a way for dads and their kids to hit the court together.

The two-day camp has also raised more than $1 million for UNC Children's Hospital, and continues to be an active gift for Father's Day.

"It's a lot of fun because they are pulling for each other. They see kids they don't even know that are pulling for each other," said Montross. "For some of them, these are the first passes they are going to make. They're not all basketball players when they come here. So, this is very much a feel-good camp and an opportunity to teach. So we celebrate all of their successes."

Montross was picked by the Boston Celtics in the 1994 NBA Draft.
