Local football team needs your help to play in championship game

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The John Avery Boys and Girls Club 15 and under football team is currently undefeated and they have the opportunity to play in the championship game in Florida on Dec. 5.

The 19 players on the Durham Titans team need to raise $3,000 and their coach says the trip would make a big difference in their lives.

"For a lot of them it would mean the world. A lot of them haven't been outside of Durham," said Coach Greg Greene.
