Valor Games come to Triangle

CHAPEL HILL -- They've served their country with pride, and now veterans are taking part in the Valor Games.

Disabled military members are competing in nine adaptive sporting events including sitting volleyball, bocce, air rifle and more.

The goal is recovery and rehabilitation.

Now in its fourth year locally, the Valor Games are popular among the wounded warriors who enjoy the competition and the camaraderie.
