On October 22, a shooter entered the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, Ontario, firing multiple rounds and killing one soldier in what the Prime Minister is calling a "terrorist act." The NHL postponed the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs game that was supposed to occur that night, leaving the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins matchup the first NHL game in wake of the tragedy.

Pittsburgh responded in an incredibly classy fashion, with a triumphant and sweeping performance of "O Canada" being performed despite no Canadian teams actually playing. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia fans joined along, and as the heartfelt ode to our neighbor up north reaches its peak, it's hard not to be completely swept up by this moving ice magic. Check out the incredible video above for the touching gesture to Canada.
