SUV crashes into tanker in Johnston County
Firefighters used foam to prevent a fire.

SELMA, North Carolina (WTVD) -- An SUV and a tanker truck collided at NC-96 and Old Beulah Road, about a mile north of Selma Monday morning.

Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed emergency workers put foam around the truck to prevent a fire.

The SUV had heavy front-end damage.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries. Two women in the SUV were taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

The SUV driver is charged with running the stop sign.
