Out of control SUV hits shopper coming out of Raleigh Food Lion

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- An out of control SUV ran into the entry area of a Food Lion grocery store at 7440 Louisburg Road in northeast Raleigh Thursday morning, hitting a shopper coming out of the doors.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed broken glass and a wrecker truck preparing to pull the vehicle out.

Police said it appeared the driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

The shopper has minor injuries.
