Accident damages Raleigh traffic lights

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- An early morning accident caused traffic lights to drop over New Bern Avenue near the US-64 Business at Hedingham Boulevard intersection in Raleigh.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. when a vehicle hit a utility pole. No serious injuries were reported.

The roadway was blocked as crews worked to repair the damage.
