Drivers face more changes in I-40/440 construction zone

Drivers who travel in the I-40/440 construction zone faced more lane changes Wednesday.

Motorists will now use brand new lanes on I-40 west between South Saunders and Lake Wheeler Road.

Overnight Wednesday, crews moved traffic onto the newly rebuilt lanes.

That means there are only two more sections still using the old pavement.
